Diving

Malaysia is said to have some of the world’s greatest and most untouched diving sites. Malaysia has many different islands that are home to some of the most amazing species on earth. One such island noted for its amazing dive locations is Pulau Tioman. Here you can witness blue spotted rays, angelfishes, giant mantas, cuttlefish and much more. There are also 150 species of hard corals along the reef that have been identified around Tioman. Along with the spectacular dive sites Tioman also has nice white sandy beaches and beautiful resorts to relax in after a day of diving.

However, the true treasures can be found on the Eastern part of Malaysia on the island of Sipadan where rare diving scenes are frequently seen. These include schools of greenback turtles and hawkbill turtles nesting and mating, schools of barracuda, and many different species of sharks. This true gem of an island is home to more than 3,000 species of fish and hundreds of coral making it a true unique find in the diving world.
